Its leadership combines the talents of both companies.Andrew Fitton, Chairman of United Wireless Holdings, is taking an active role as the CEO of Velocita Wireless. Having lead the purchase of Velocita Wireless in June 1997, he believes strongly that this network is ideally suited for M2M telemetry applications as well as Energy / Utility based smart grid solutions. Velocita has also augmented its staff with new leadership who are enthusiastically committed to growing our business.

Chairman, United Wireless Holdings Company Mr. Fitton is currently Chairman at STFC. He is also Executive Chariman of US Wireless Operator, United Wireless Inc and President of Swedish technology company Mobitex Technology AB. He is a founding partner of investment management company Gracchi Capital Partners LLP. Between 1995 and 2002 he was Chief Executive of Transcomm plc, the UK's leading wireless data network operator. Between 1990 to 1995, he was Chariman of Eaton-Williams Group Ltd, an air-conditioning and environmental products company. Prior to joining Eaton-Williams, Mr. Fitton was Chief Executive of Andrew Sykes plc. which is listed on the London Stock Exchange. Mr. Fitton was Chairman of Synergy Health plc., which is listed on the London Stock Exchange, between 1991 and 2000 |
| Andy Goldman | Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Goldman has over 25 years of financial and business management experience, specializing in privately held companies within the information technology sector. His responsibilities include management of the Finance Department, business strategy, board, relations, fund (capital and debt) raising, and M&A activities. Prior to joining Velocita in November 2009, Mr. Goldman spent the last 3 years as CFO of the FeedRoom, an on-line video provider and 8 years as SVP Finance at IntraLinks, a SaaS provider for exchanging high value information across enterprise boundaries. Before that, Andy spent 5 years as VP Controller at two companies that provided financial data to the trading community. Andy started his career at Ernst & Young, and also worked for the auditing departments for CBS and Continental Grain. Andy is a CPA, and a graduate of Lehigh University. |
| Anthony (Tony) Polifonte |
VP Network Operations Prior to Velocita, Tony spent 16 years at Sprint Nextel where he held a variety of management positions. He was most recently responsible for management of Nextel’s nationwide two way radio analog network including customer migration to Nextel’s digital network, coverage enhancements, interference resolution, antenna site leasing, maintenance and field service work. In 1996 Tony launched Nextel’s first online analog provisioning system to all dealers across the US. Tony’s tenure includes 10 years integrating hundreds of Nextel’s spectrum and company acquisitions, integrating each of them into the Nextel framework. Tony was also responsible for ensuring FCC regulatory compliance for non-core network spectrum, while working closely with the Government Affairs Group to ensure effective management of company spectrum licenses including the sales and leasing of spectrum to 3rd party operators. Tony began his career in wireless telecommunications in 1992 with FleetCALL as the Accounting Manager for the New York division. FleetCALL later went on to change its name to Nextel Tony holds a B.A. degree from William Paterson University in Accounting. |
